Nikolaj Ambrusevič
Short description / mini CV: 

Nikolaj Ambrusevic has ten years’ experience lecturing Marketing, Management, International Business and Economics in higher education in Lithuania and abroad. Nikolaj holds a PhD in Economics from Vilnius Gediminas Technical University. Alongside his PhD, Nikolaj has two Master’s - in Business Administration and in International Law.

At the same time as pursuing an academic career, he has gained more than twelve years’ experience in the field of sales and marketing working in B2B sector for local and international companies. Currently Nikolaj is working for a global market intelligence company specializing in technology, automotive, travel, construction, oil & gas mining, and other industrial verticals across CEE & CIS countries.

Besides traditional research directions in social sciences investigating processes of internationalization developing sector of high technology and design impact on brand equity, Nikolaj’s current research focus is in investigating distance learning trends. Uncertainty in constructing future landscape of higher education is what drives his motivation to focus on this under researched area.

Alongside the academic and professional activity Nikolaj is constantly running additional educational and marketing projects. He is experienced in documentary’s community outreach campaigns coordination, national wide educational programs’ for high schools and universities organization, mentoring at Lithuanian and international business projects with students.
