Research Seminar Entrepreneurial Networks in Business Development and Competence Formation

ISM kindly invites to participate in Research Seminar "Entrepreneurial networks in business development and competence formation as a research field for 21st century" led by prof. Tiit Elenurm, Estonian Business School (Estonia).

Seminar will take place on the 24th of October, 9:30, room 412.

Abstract:
Networking is sometimes treated as a buzzword but in recent years several research directions have emerged that focus on entrepreneurial networks and on finding the right balance between online and face-face networking for sharing business knowledge,  discovering new business opportunities and for finding international business partners and developing virtual communities. Research on readiness of students to use online networking tools and experience of developing networking competence in global X-Culture teams, in Tallinn-Helsinki  online networking twin courses, in the Nordic Ideation Camp and in the Nordic Investment programme will be presented. New experiential research co-operation ideas between ISM and Estonian Business School for finding and studying networking opportunities that match entrepreneurial orientations of students and practitioners are generated during this seminar.
