Overview

The Catholic University of Portugal (UCP) also referred as Católica is the only concordatary university (non-state-run university with concordatary status) of the Catholic Church in Portugal. Although it is just one university, it is made up of four major regional centres: Beiras (Caldas da Rainha and Viseu), Braga, Lisbon (the headquarters) and Porto. Today UCP consists of 18 faculties, schools and institutes that are the basic education and research units.

Courses offered for exchange students
Study mode
A Portuguese language course for exchange students is provided by the Faculty of Human Sciences. It aims to enable students to tackle the most important daily situations and to get to know Portuguese culture and traditions.
