Overview

Leeds Beckett University is one of the most popular universities in the UK. The University's origins can be traced back to 1824, with the foundation of the Leeds Mechanics Institute. University has a mixture of old and new buildings on campuses - the oldest building is at Headingley Campus and dates back to 1752.
Leeds Beckett University boast over 100 years' of quality teaching experience, delivered by leading practitioners with strong links to industries and the professions - many are world-renowned authorities in their fields. Many international figureheads have received honorary awards from the University, including Haile Gebrselassie, regarded as one of the greatest distance runners of all time.
