Aurelija Proškutė
Trumpas aprašymas (mini CV): 

Aurelija is a graduate of Vilnius University. In 2013 she defended her doctoral dissertation on the analysis of business cycle in Lithuania and is now specializing in applied economic research of business cycles, DSGE models and micro foundations of aggregate macro movements. During her PhD studies Aurelija spent a year as a visiting researcher in Toulouse School of Economics (France).

For almost 10 years Aurelija worked in an international business consulting company “Euromonitor International” where she accumulated experience in developing empirical economic and econometric models. Currently Aurelija is a Senior Economist at the bank of Lithuania, Applied Macroeconomic Research Division. Her main functions entail theoretical and empirical macroeconomic research and economic policy analysis.

Aurelija has started teaching during her PhD studies at Vilnius University and has since taught a number of courses in Micro and Macroeconomics in both Vilnius University and ISM. She is also a lecturer in Economics in National Student Academy for gifted high school pupils.
